The Cedar Boat Club launches a fantastic new community event in Cedar Rapids called the Ellis Family Fun Fest sponsored by Cassill Motors. The event will be held June 8th and include a fundraiser breakfast, the long-awaited return of the Freedom Festival Cardboard Boat Regatta, a Carnival Fun Zone with games and inflatables, Ellis Car & Watercraft Show, and Music in the Park with the local band Low & Away to end the day. There will also be an assortment of food trucks and vendors on hand throughout the day.
To pull this off, we're going to need many more volunteers than we can provide from within our Club membership and are hoping that the local Boy Scout Troops will find this a worthy event to donate their time! Please check out the event details at www.cedarboatclub.org/ellis-
