In order to help rebuild the tree canopy that is being lost due to Ash tree removal, Linn County and Ely are partnering together to replant a majority of what is lost. We need your help to plant up to 50 Native trees to help increase Ely's tree canopy. Volunteers will planting trees. This planting will start at Schulte Park located at 1310 Banner Valley Road, Ely and volunteers will then travel to other locations nearby to help plant trees. Volunteers that plan to arrive later will still meet at Schulte Park and will be given directions on where to go to assist planting these trees. Volunteers are recommended to bring gloves if desired and if you would like to bring shovels to help out that would be helpful.
