Last Hope Animal Rescue is hosting their largest annual fundraiser, Barks & Brew, on Saturday, August 12th at Guthridge Park in Hiawatha. The family friendly event runs from 2-7pm, there are multiple volunteer opportunities available.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
Volunteer shifts are available from 2-4:30pm and 4:30-7pm.
This is an outdoor event, there is some limited shade and seating. The event is held at Guthridge Park in Hiawatha, the entire event area is grass.
New volunteers will not be asked to handle adoptable animals. Positions available include admission/entry gate, checkout tables (card processing through a square reader), concession sales and crowd supervision. We can accommodate individuals or small groups of volunteers!
