Join the Iowa Alliance for Healthy Kids and Iowa ACEs 360 as we package 300 lesson plan kits for early learning programs in eastern Iowa, with funding from Mental Health/Disability Services of the East Central Region. Volunteers will help count and sort handouts, books, and supplies and put them into boxes that will then be delivered to programs that serve young children. All Sesame Street-branded activities are focused on helping young children build social-emotional skills, like naming and exploring their feelings, coping with stress, problem solving, and building positive relationships. Volunteer shifts will take place in the conference room at the Community Services Building on September 20th and 21st.
