Help collect and sort donations at United Way's Essential Items Drive on September 26 from 9:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. (Actual donation drive runs from 10 to 2.) Donations will be dropped off at the Lindale Mall Entrance on the First Ave. side between Von Maur and the former Sears location; so you will be serving in and outside of the building.
You need to be able to lift 25 pounds, stand for periods of time, and possibly bend to get items out of car trunks. Please wear comfortable shoes, weather appropriate attire, a mask, and bring plenty of water.
All collected items will go to HACAP & Horizons and will be distributed to individuals in our communities.
