Cedar Rapids Milestones, a program of Aging Services, is looking for a friendly individual to be a dining room assistant.
The hours needed for this volunteer opportunity are from 10 am-1 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and/or Friday. Schedule is flexible according to your availability.
Duties include assisting with setting the dining room (placemats, silverware, glasses) and distributing drinks to participants. After meal service would include clearing tables and cleaning dining area. This is a great opportunity to get to know individuals at the center and build meaningful relationships.
Cedar Rapids Milestones serves adults 18+ who need medical care, socialization, or have other needs during the day and then return home in the evening. If you enjoy meeting new people and making a difference, we would love to talk to you about all of the great things happening at Cedar Rapids Milestones.
Volunteers are fully trained and will complete background checks.
