Assist DOGS FOREVER's Shelter Facility Lead with various Shelter Projects.
Help with one or more projects ( see examples below)

Choose dates and times that are convenient for you.
Work alone or with another volunteer.
To get the ball rolling, simply visit the GET INVOLVED tab on our website (dogsforever.org) and fill out a volunteer questionnaire. You will be contacted by a Volunteer Coordinator.
Warm weather projects
- Mow narrow strip of grass (near sidewalk)
- De-weed the parking lot areas not covered by turf
- Put up (and later take down) misters/spritzers and shade tarps
Cold weather projects
- Shovel the sidewalk and passageway to/from PET area
- Spread salt on icy areas
One-time projects
- Fix whatever's broken!
- Assist with turf repair (as needed)
- Spray sanitizer on turf (one-time monthly)
Periodic projects
- Clean clothes washer using vinegar (or another natural product)
- Clean refrigerator and defrost freezer
- Discard any worn or ripped towels, blankets, toys
