Purpose: Welcome visitors to the museum at the elevator entrance. This first friendly impression is one of the most important part of the visitors's experience and our volunteers say it is a very rewarding role.
Grand Hall Host Role:
- Direct visitors from the elevator to the information desk
- Ensure that all visitors have the necessary tickets
- Inform visitors of museum daily activities
- Answer visitor questions as needed
- Be aware of Museum hours of operation and upcoming events
- Learn about museum membership policy and museum promotions
Qualification:
- Must be outgoing, have a friendly demeanor and a smile!
- Will to learn about the museum and enjoy talking with the public
- Basic knowledge of the community is also an asset
Commitment required: 3-4 hours / shift, we will work with your schedule!
