Future City Iowa is looking for dedicated mentors and volunteers to support middle school students as they prepare for the 2027 Competition! This years theme? Build a Fire Resilient Future!
As a Mentor/Volunteer, you will:
Guide a team of 3–5 middle school students as they research and design a futuristic city and offer real-world insights into engineering, architecture, urban planning, or project management.
Help students brainstorm solutions to a specific to building a Fire Resilient Future.
Provide feedback on their virtual city design, essay, and scale model.
