Linn County Trails Association

The LCTA is an entirely volunteer 501(c)3 organization made up of 23 Board members, 10 Advisory Board members and other interested donors and activists.

The LCTA supports and aids in the development of recreational trails in Linn County by providing funding, advocacy and consultation to the political entities which actually build the trails.

LCTA provides outreach at community events (like the Cedar Rapids summer Farmer's Markets and the Marion Uptown Markets) and meetings. LCTA also maintains a series of trail counters to gather information on trail usage.  LCTA also partners with the Corridor MPO in publishing a trail map that is freely available at locations along the trail and in sponsoring businesses (bike and running shops).
