Who We Are
The purpose of the Jones County Conservation Department is to provide programs that preserve and enhance natural and cultural resources and provide recreational opportunities for all people.
What We Do
The Jones County Conservation Department manages and maintains over 20 public areas providing a variety of recreational opportunities to all those who enjoy the outdoors. In addition the Jones County Conservation Environmental Education program educates thousands of area residents and visitors each year through programs in local schools, at the Central Park Nature Center, and in conservation areas.
