Our Mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity (CVHFH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to building, rehabilitating and repairing simple, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with families in need in Linn and Benton counties.
Partner families make a down payment, invest hundreds of hours of sweat equity into the construction of their homes and other Habitat homes, and make monthly mortgage payments on a zero-interest loan.
Since 1988, Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity has built, rehabilitated or repaired homes in Linn and Benton counties serving more than 292 families. In 2023, Cedar Valley Habitat plans to partner with more than 25 families through a combination of new construction, rehab builds and affordable repairs.
