Who We Are
Discovery Living opened its first group home on December 1, 1981, serving eight individuals. Today, Discovery Living serves over 140 men and women. All of the people we serve have an intellectual disability, and many have other conditions, such as: autism, cerebral palsy, visual or hearing limitations. Discovery Living employs over 200 staff, most of whom provide direct support to the people we serve.
The future for Discovery Living looks bright. Over the years we have kept our focus on providing high-quality residential support services to men and women who have various intellectual disabilities. The ultimate goal is to enable people served to enjoy lives that are filled with meaning, worth, dignity and respect. In so doing, they can be recognized as valuable members of the community in which they live.
