Catholic Worker House

We are open 7 days a week to offer temporary hospitality to homeless women with or without children and married couples with or without children. While they are with is, we provide everything we can for our guests: beds, food, toiletries, clothing (if we can)--the basic necessities are given to them while they are with us. As a shelter, we can house approximately 20 people. We also act as a referral agency, giving pointers when we can as to the resources available to our guests in the community. AS OF MARCH 1, 2012 WE HAVE CONSOLIDATED OUR FOOD PANTRY WITH METRO CATHOLIC OUTREACH. We still deliver food baskets to shut-in individuals who cannot leave their home.  |
