Who We Are

Cedar county Attic Museum is a little gem nestled on Cedar Street in Tipton Iowa. It is filled with many historic pieces that shed light to the community's history. There is a tearoom that is available for special events that will add a beautiful Victorian feel to any special occasion. This museum also has a rare collection of genealogical books that can offer unique information that can provide highlights about one's family's history.

What We Do

Volunteers add the unique value of passion for history and sharing their knowledge. By sharing this knowledge with our visitors, the public becomes more aware of the importance of history and its role on the past of our county and country.
The goal of our volunteer positions is that people will walk away with a better understanding of their community’s history and the impact of that history in today’s world. They will know more about the history of Cedar County and perhaps become more involved in the community
