Who We Are
Shellsburg Area community Group(SACG) was formed in 2011 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit community improvement group with the goal of promoting a positive image of Shellsburg, improving the appearance of the community and stimulating economic development by encouraging cooperation and building leadership in the community.
What We Do
Our community group works on city beautification by planting/maintaining flower gardens/planters including some Iowa native plants, tree replacement on city property, continual park enhancements, hold or assist with family fun events and other items to enhance our community as a great place to live and raise a family.
