Task: Install Bird Deterrents in Dock Area
Description: Volunteers will help install chicken wire or other bird deterrents in the exterior dock/bay door ceiling area to prevent pigeons from nesting and creating unsanitary conditions. The dock area measures approximately 36’ x 60”. This task will require adult volunteers who are comfortable working on ladders or a Genie lift. This area is often used by clients as shelter from rain, snow, or extreme heat, so keeping it clean and safe is important.
