Key Responsibilities

As a WRAP Design Specialist, you will:

visit the build site and talk with the client about their needs, create a design plan and materials list using our software tools - or your own,collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to creating meaningful impacthelp WRAP continue its mission of building accessibility and independence for those we serve,report construction details post-build.

In Addition, the Design Specialist may:

obtain building permits,schedule the build date and request volunteer workers using our private distribution list, order building materials, lead construction of the ramp,report construction details post-build.

Drivers are needed to transport people in the community to medical facilities for various medical appointments. The Benton County Volunteer Center provides medical transportation assistance for people who cannot drive, do not have family or friends available to drive, or cannot afford transportation to medical appointments. Clients are usually sixty years of age or older. Volunteer drivers give their time but receive mileage reimbursement.

Volunteers must successfully complete a background check, posses a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a willingness to go through volunteer medical transportation assistance training if required.

Become a wish granter from any county in the state of Iowa to create hope, strength, and joy for children with critical illnesses.

You will be partnered with a wish granter to meet with wish kids and their families to brainstorm ideas and help determine their wish.
