Volunteer: Volunteer Coach
Become a Girls on the Run coach today! We welcome enthusiastic, dedicated, and positive volunteers who are committed to empowering girls with valuable life lessons.
Through safety and physical distancing modifications and creating trauma-sensitive spaces, our team is ready to bring critical social-emotional programming to our girls, at a time when they need it the most.
How We're Preparing for Fall 2020
Transitioning our 10-week season to an 8-week season (September 14-November 8).
Flexible programming that can quickly and easily shift to be completely virtual, if needed.
Safety and social distancing policies will be implemented, including providing teams with hand sanitizer and masks.
There will be a maximum of 12 girls per team.
Adding additional coach training in COVID safety policies and virtual meeting space safety policies.
Coaches do not need to be runners, just passionate about empowering girls! Our girls need you more than ever!
