Volunteers are needed during the day on Friday, December 5th. We start at around 8am and if we have enough helpers are usually done by 3-4pm or earlier! Some shifts start at the event venue (near NewBo) moving tables and chairs getting everything set up and ready. Some shifts involve setting out merch making sure it looks "pretty" (and not sloppy/throw together) and pricing items). Thanks in advance! p.s. Help with one or more projects ( see examples below) You can pick which one(s)! Choose dates and times that are convenient for you. Work alone or with another volunteer. To get the ball rolling, simply visit the GET INVOLVED tab on our website (dogsforever.org) and fill out a volunteer questionnaire. You will be contacted by a Volunteer Coordinator. Warm weather projects Mow narrow strip of grass (near sidewalk) De-weed the parking lot areas not covered by turf Put up (and later take down) misters/spritzers and shade tarpsCold weather projects Shovel the sidewalk and passageway to/from PET area Spread salt on icy areasOne-time projects Fix whatever's broken!Assist with turf repair (as needed) Spray sanitizer on turf (one-time monthly)Periodic projects Clean clothes washer using vinegar (or another natural product) Clean refrigerator and defrost freezerDiscard any worn or ripped towels, blankets, toys Agency: Dogs Forever Assist DOGS FOREVER's Shelter Facility Lead with various Shelter Projects.
