Riders and drivers can be active 24/7 which means there are times they cannot find each other. Since the office is only open for scheduling from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, we need someone to answer the phone outside office hours and on Holidays. Work from any location that has a phone to help drivers, riders and the office! Our phone system allows us to forward phones to any number. We can even adjust the call destination remotely! Our Ride Management System (RCA RMS) gives you all the information to help others get back on track. You will need web access and a computer. Printing out the master manifest allows you to be mobile without using the internet on your mobile phone. A common evening involves 0 to 5 phone calls. Helpful skills include: phone communication, comfort with simple computer usage, and some knowledge of local roads.Help from home! and make a huge difference in other people's lives. We do this by coordinating volunteer drivers with those in need to provide a low cost transportation option in the Cedar Rapids area.
