This is the perfect way for someone to get involved who doesn’t have any extra time to give. Add one of our high-need items to your list and pick it up when you’re out shopping. You can drop it off to Willis Dady when you’re already out and about. Do your shopping online instead? Have it shipped to the shelter!
Key responsibilities include:
- Meet with our Volunteer Coordinator to learn about Willis Dady’s ongoing needs.
- Commit to purchasing a high-need item to donate to Willis Dady on a regular basis. (Example items: paper towels, toilet paper, pillows, 13-gallon trash bags, 55-gallon trash bags, cases of water, laundry pods, razors)
- Purchase or have the donation shipped to Willis Dady.
This is a very flexible commitment! All we ask is to know how often you’ll be delivering the item you sign up for. It could be weekly, biweekly, or monthly. (Any other length of time will be considered a valuable donation but not recorded as a shopping volunteer.)
