Summer Fest Volunteers – A gift to the community!
Please consider volunteering for the 29th annual Tanager Place Summer Fest on June 1, 2019 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at the Collins Aerospace Sports Complex (F Ave & Collins Rd NE).
Tanager Place Summer Fest is a free, outdoor festival offering families across the Corridor interactive activities, games, crafts, inflatable rides, live entertainment, mascot mania, Rev’d for Kids Charity Car Show, and General Mills Make Your Own Cereal Tent.
For the past 28 years, this free family festival – made possible by VOLUNTEERS and generous sponsors – has raised over $650,000 for Tanager Place programs specializing in mental and behavioral wellness for children and celebrates Tanager Place’s mission to provide children and families with services that inspire, empower and heal.
More than 200 community volunteers are needed for a variety of shifts to help make this family-friendly event a success. Bring your friends & family with you. Volunteers 12 and older are welcome. Summer Fest offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities, and all volunteers receive a complimentary t-shirt.
