Volunteer: Grant WriterThrive Together Today is a nonprofit organization devoted to our Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing clients who are victims/survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault, suicide, and any other violent crime. We work with clients from all over Iowa to provide empowerment, advocacy, prevention, and support services.
We are searching for individuals who: are easy to work with and comfortable taking direction willing to learn about sign language and Deaf Culture have knowledge about grant writing or are willing to learn have a working knowledge of confidentiality is a huge plus, but not requiredWork hours are flexible. We are seeking a commitment of a minimum of 5-10 hours a week, or whatever you can offer. Volunteers must have their own laptops, cell phones, and transportation. The volunteer service is UNPAID.
