Volunteer: DOGS FOREVER - Shelter Project AssistantAssist DOGS FOREVER's Shelter Facility Lead with various Shelter Projects. Help with one or more projects; you get to pick which ones! Choose dates and times that are convenient for you. Work alone or with another volunteer. Warm weather projects Mow narrow strip of grass (near sidewalk) De-weed the parking lot areas not covered by turf Put up (and later take down) misters/spritzers and shade tarpsCold weather projects Shovel the sidewalk and passageway to/from PET area Spread salt on icy areasOne-time projects Fix whatever's broken!Assist with turf repair (as needed) Spray sanitizer on turf (one-time monthly)Periodic projects Clean clothes washer using vinegar (or another natural product) Clean refrigerator and defrost freezerDiscard any worn or ripped towels, blankets, toysTo get the ball rolling, simply visit the GET INVOLVED tab on our website (dogsforever.org) and fill out a volunteer questionnaire.
