Any persons interested in volunteering in the facilities department will be required to sign a liability waiver. We have long term and short term volunteer opportunities. What to expect: We have a lot of different tasks and projects and they vary from season to season. Tasks that we might need help with are: Working with power tools if necessary (after an orientation and training) Indoor and outdoor work depending on the weather Helping our Nature Director (cleaning cages, cleaning barn) Cleaning buildings around camp (cabins, gym, etc) Building projects Cleaning around the camp Painting and/or staining Power washing Splitting firewood Wrapping Christmas presents Helping with garage sale Donation pick ups Remove invasive species in the woods and other projects as they come up mowing grass around camp in the winter shoveling snow

Volunteer: Donation TransportersCamp Courageous is looking for someone that likes to drive a car/pickup with a trailer and would help camp out in picking up donation in the Monticello, Manchester, Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area. Camp has a garage sale in Manchester were most of out donated items will go some items we can't sell at the garage sale so they would go to Goodwill in Cedar Rapids. If that is something that sounds interesting to you please let us know. We would appreciate all the help. Weekly or bi-weekly volunteers are preferred.
