Who We Are

SAINT Rescue & Adoption Center in Cedar Rapids is dedicated to improving the lives of our homeless cats by placing them in loving, forever homes.

SAINT (Saving Animals In Need Today) began in 2000 when our founder began rescuing and adopting out cats and kittens, personally paying all veterinary and medical expenses. The needs became so great, SAINT was formally incorporated in 2010 and became a nonprofit 501c3 animal welfare organization.

In October 2013, the Cat Adoption Center in Anamosa was destroyed by a fire. SAINT relocated to SW Cedar Rapids and held its grand opening in March 2014.

What We Do

Visit our adoptable cats and kittens at our Open House every Saturday 11 AM to 3 PM. You'll be greeted by so many adorable kittens in our lobby, then step inside our colony rooms and mingle with all the wonderful cats awaiting their forever home.

All of the animals we take in have been abandoned or in need. We assess each cat carefully and provide necessary medical attention before they are offered for adoption.
