Our Mission: Empowering people to save starving children. Since inception in 2008, thousands of volunteers have packaged over 200 million meals. Each meal package feeds six people and costs only $1.50 to produce.

Meals from the Heartland relies on thousands of generous volunteers, corporate sponsors and community partners to help feed the hungry. Since 2008, together through prayer, volunteer service and financial gifts, we have packaged and distributed over 200 million nutritious meals for children and families facing food insecurity in Iowa, across the United States and around the world.
