Cedar Rapids Community Schools

The educational program of the Cedar Rapids Schools is designed to provide excellence for all students, and is based on a guiding philosophy of continuous improvement. Instructional volunteers strengthen the learning environment for all students by providing enrichment, in-class or clerical assistance, mentoring, and 'at home' help. |

The Cedar Rapids Community Schools has the second largest enrollment in the state. The District's preschool through grade 12 program serves more than 16,000 students in 22 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, and 4 high schools. There are also various alternative centers.
